The wording verses used in your birth announcements are very important. You want to say it all, but with few words. Parents are choosing to use very simple, classic language to announce the birth of their baby. Fluffy, cutesy language is being used less and less. More popular are the short, direct message, like "we welcome with love" or "we joyfully announce”. This type of birth announcement wording has a more understated, classy feel. Despite a shorter message, most parents continue to include the names of their child’s siblings or any pets in the family.
You should begin planning your birth announcements as soon as possible so you can mail them in a timely manner after the baby is born. If you are going to design and personalize your own birth announcements, you will want to do as much of the creating before the birth as possible, since you won't have a lot of free time during the first few weeks after your baby is born. If you are not sure of your baby's gender, you can send gender-neutral birth announcements. Obviously, you won't know much of the pertinent information yet, but you can fill in the baby's name if that has been decided, along with your own names. |
