- Book your entertainment; read the contracts before signing and keep all your receipts
Three weeks before the BIRTHDAY PARTY DAY!
- Mail your personalized birthday invitations, including your RSVP date. Be sure and place a list of those you invited next to the phone to record RSVP’s

- Purchase anything you may be missing for games and crafts
- Ask family members and friends to help

- Follow up on all those who have not RSVP
- Verify all helpers are still available and their assigned duties
- Select prizes for games and gift wrap them
- Order the birthday cake
- Confirm the entertainment
- Confirm your babysitter, if an adult birthday party
One week before the BIRTHDAY PARTY DAY!
- Purchase plenty of film, batteries, video tape and back up disposable film Purchase food, candy and other similar items
- Prepare the goodie bags based on confirmations
- Prepare the crafts and games
One day before the BIRTHDAY PARTY DAY!
- Prepare the birthday food ahead of time
- If the birthday party is in your home, clean the house and set up the party spot. If you rented a birthday party hall, ask to get in the night before, provided they haven't a morning event. If you are having the birthday party in the park, you'll just have to wait till the morning of the event
Day of the BIRTHDAY PARTY DAY!
- Pick up the cake and other last minute items
- Blow up and set out balloons four hours before the birthday party
- Get the kids ready for the birthday party, if a children’s birthday party
- HAVE LOTS OF FUN!
Week after the BIRTHDAY PARTY DAY!
- Send birthday thank you cards to all the helpers and those who gave gifts!
