When planning a teen party, we suggest that you don't make it a surprise party unless you know that your teenager will not feel intimidated by it – teenagers like to be involved for fear that if the parents do something embarrassing and spoils their image. It is always a good idea to center the teen birthday party around food! Boys especially, eat a tremendous amount at this age. Always let your teenager make the decisions for What, Where, When and Whom. All teens are usually embarrassed by their parents and their funny, old-fashioned ways and sometimes even more so if you try to be like one of them. So, keep your distance at the teen party but don't leave entirely unless you want to run the risk of your house resembling a riot area. And finally, you might want to relax the rules so that the day feels special. Make it a fun teen party to remember. |
